Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to achieve business objectives and sales targets
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and coach a high-performing team of 5-10 members
• Manage store culture, payroll, scheduling, and employee engagement
• Drive sales performance by monitoring KPIs and implementing growth strategies
• Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts, returns, and stock levels
• Execute visual merchandising strategies to maintain brand integrity and floor presentation
• Resolve customer concerns and build loyalty through exceptional service and CRM tools
• Manage store budget, P&L statements, and controllable expenditures

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of leadership in retail management, hospitality, or customer service
• Experience in hiring, training, and leading teams
• Experience with retail visual merchandising and display
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Open availability including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally and remain physically active on the sales floor

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for home interiors
• Experience with Shopify, Netsuite, Looker, Zipline, RetailNext, Deputy, or Asana
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced startup environment
