Store Manager - Optical

Responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain the highest level of customer service for all patients and customers
• Monitor and achieve profit, sales, and performance goals by reviewing P&L statements
• Manage store operations including hiring, supervising, and training all store associates
• Ensure all store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are correctly implemented
• Provide daily and weekly statistics to the District Manager and corporate office
• Maintain professional relations with doctors, host store associates, and customers
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards and maintain high service levels

Requirements

• Management experience in the retail or optical industry
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and technical procedures
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts accurately
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
