About the role
Responsibilities
- Realize business priorities, sales goals, and budget targets for the store
- Develop sales potential in the local market and build effective customer relationships
- Manage the store team, ensuring competence development and high engagement
- Promote and enforce the "Active Seller" attitude among all employees
- Build the MAKRO brand image locally and cooperate with local institutions and organizations
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trade, direct sales, or business unit management in FMCG/Retail
- At least 3 years of experience managing large teams
- Practical knowledge of sales strategy implementation, P&L management, and budget execution
- Experience in local market development and key account management
- Ability to manage store operational processes, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and sales skills
- Higher education (preferably in management, economics, or marketing)
- Very good command of English (spoken and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Active Category B driver's license
