Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure an inclusive customer experience
• Educate customers and staff on brand values, including ethical buying and handmade products
• Increase product knowledge and provide informed recommendations
• Develop and execute business plans to improve KPIs and achieve sales goals
• Coach and develop the management and retail teams through development plans and constructive feedback
• Prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives
• Manage recruitment, selection, and performance concerns with empathy and transparency
• Ensure shop compliance with company standards, health and safety protocols, and budgets
• Manage stock, inventory, and ordering to minimize waste and ensure product availability
• Execute merchandising plans to maintain a beautiful work environment and drive sales
• Oversee scheduling, time, and attendance to ensure payroll accuracy and staff wellbeing

Requirements

• 3-5 years of retail management experience
• Strong HR skills including hiring, scheduling, training, and conflict resolution
• Excellent communication, listening, and analytical skills
• Strong organization and time management abilities
• Knowledge of skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consultation-based customer service models
• Proven track record of developing retail staff careers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in cross-cultural collaboration or DEIB training
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
