About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure an inclusive customer experience
- Educate customers and staff on brand values including ethical buying and handmade products
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve short and long-term KPIs
- Coach and develop staff through development plans and constructive feedback
- Manage recruitment, selection, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
- Oversee shop compliance, stock, inventory, and merchandising standards
- Manage labor budgets, scheduling, and payroll accuracy
Requirements
- 3-5 years of retail management experience
- Strong HR skills including hiring, training, and performance management
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong customer service and sales expertise
- Knowledge of skincare and natural beauty products
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with consultation-based customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite
- Experience in cross-cultural collaboration or DEIB training
- Fluency in French, Spanish, or other languages
