About the Company
LAP (Life Among People) is on a mission to make the speciality coffee experience more affordable, digital, and convenient. We are a small but mighty team serving coffee from our stores in Berlin, Munich and Hamburg and are rapidly expanding across Germany.
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day success of the Cologne store, including team leadership and shift organization
- Ensure elite operating standards, great customer service, and business profitability
- Manage team schedules and uphold company culture and standards
- Build community engagement and relationships with local businesses and residents
- Oversee product quality management, waste reduction, and health & safety compliance
- Track and report daily KPIs, inventory counts, and supply transfers
- Collaborate with Brand and Marketing teams to execute customer growth strategies
- Support team development and cultivate baristas for future leadership roles
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail
- Track record in team scaling, inventory, and supply chain management
- Entrepreneurial, solution-focused, and adaptable to fast-paced startup environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English and German
- Ability to travel occasionally for new opportunities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the coffee industry
