Store Manager

About the Company

LAP (Life Among People) is on a mission to make the speciality coffee experience more affordable, digital, and convenient. We are a small but mighty team serving coffee from our stores in Berlin, Munich and Hamburg and are rapidly expanding across Germany.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day success of the Cologne store, including team leadership and shift organization
• Ensure elite operating standards, great customer service, and business profitability
• Manage team schedules and uphold company culture and standards
• Build community engagement and relationships with local businesses and residents
• Oversee product quality management, waste reduction, and health & safety compliance
• Track and report daily KPIs, inventory counts, and supply transfers
• Collaborate with Brand and Marketing teams to execute customer growth strategies
• Support team development and cultivate baristas for future leadership roles

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of leadership experience in hospitality or retail
• Track record in team scaling, inventory, and supply chain management
• Entrepreneurial, solution-focused, and adaptable to fast-paced startup environments
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English and German
• Ability to travel occasionally for new opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the coffee industry
