Store Manager Candidate

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in implementing all store processes, including employee supervision and staffing.
• Manage inventory through proper execution of damages, markdowns, register scanning, and conducting inventories.
• Facilitate store merchandising by staging, stocking, and ensuring merchandise is presented according to company standards.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and employees.
• Ensure financial integrity through strict cashier accountability, key control, and adherence to cash control procedures.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and training qualified applicants.
• Operate the store in the Store Manager's absence and review operating statements to identify business trends.

Requirements

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures, including cashier accountability and deposit controls.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of retail experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish speakers are given preference in certain locations.
• Previous experience in a retail supervisory role.
