About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store supervision, including managing staff schedules, meal periods, and overtime.
- Recruit, interview, and hire potential candidates to maintain full staffing levels and succession planning.
- Train, supervise, and motivate sales staff to achieve individual and store-wide sales goals.
- Manage personnel performance, including recognizing issues and taking appropriate disciplinary action.
- Drive sales and profit while controlling expenses, inventory, and payroll budgets.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
- Resolve customer service concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Supervise cash handling, bank procedures, and accounting of all cash flow.
- Maintain loss prevention and operational standards to secure company assets.
- Keep the cash wrap and backroom clean, organized, and efficient.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of retail management experience.
- Proficiency in retail mathematical equations and counting.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to operate POS systems and other store computer applications.
