Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store supervision, including managing staff schedules, meal periods, and overtime.
• Recruit, interview, and hire potential candidates to maintain full staffing levels and succession planning.
• Train, supervise, and motivate sales staff to achieve individual and store-wide sales goals.
• Manage personnel performance, including recognizing issues and taking appropriate disciplinary action.
• Drive sales and profit while controlling expenses, inventory, and payroll budgets.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Resolve customer service concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Supervise cash handling, bank procedures, and accounting of all cash flow.
• Maintain loss prevention and operational standards to secure company assets.
• Keep the cash wrap and backroom clean, organized, and efficient.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of retail management experience.
• Proficiency in retail mathematical equations and counting.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate POS systems and other store computer applications.
