Store Leader

Responsibilities

• Cultivate an environment of genuine consumer connection by delivering exceptional, personalized retail experiences.
• Translate the Carhartt story through the execution of visual merchandising and brand standards.
• Lead associate engagement by fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.
• Develop, train, and coach leaders and associates using performance and talent management tools.
• Analyze local market trends, product mix, and competition to drive revenue-building strategies.
• Manage store profitability, operating standards, policy administration, and team safety.
• Implement proactive recruitment and succession planning to ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Engage with the local community through events and volunteer opportunities to grow brand awareness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience.
• 4+ years of retail management experience (Store Manager experience preferred).
• Proven expertise in sales, customer service, merchandising, and inventory control.
• Experience in staffing, coaching, counseling, and talent development.
• Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work retail hours and perform moderate lifting (30-40 lbs).
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 20%.
