Store Keeper

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and issue food, beverage, and general store inventory items
• Maintain proper par levels for all storeroom products and re-order items in a timely manner
• Monitor expiry dates and follow the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method for issuing stock
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including monthly physical counts and data entry
• Ensure high levels of cleanliness and hygiene standards in all storage areas
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues to accounting
• Perform stock-related duties such as returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
• Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management
• Strong attention to detail for tracking inventory and verifying quantities
• Excellent organizational skills to manage diverse stock types (animal feed, veterinary supplies, linens, etc.)
• Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks during busy periods
