Store Interior Designer

Responsibilities

• Create relevant, functional, aesthetic, and commercial home furnishing solutions that reflect the IKEA identity
• Plan and implement range presentation solutions using global tools and best practices
• Contribute to department action plans to grow business and support long-term profitability
• Translate market research and home visit insights into locally relevant furnishing solutions
• Ensure safety and minimize disruption for visitors while working on the shop floor
• Collaborate with the retail design team and other functions to exploit commercial opportunities

Requirements

• Education or experience in interior design or architecture
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Knowledge of Revit, Sketch-up, or MS Office (preferred)
• Ability to visually, sketch, and verbally present ideas or solutions
• Understanding of interior design, trends, and commercial lighting
• Basic communication skills in English
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
