Store Director

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and develop a best-in-class team to create exceptional customer experiences
• Drive a people-first employee culture rooted in authenticity, integrity, and inclusion
• Manage talent acquisition, performance management, and continuous coaching for exempt and non-exempt employees
• Model and coach customer experience principles to ensure memorable brand interactions
• Analyze business results, customer feedback, and trends to optimize store operations and product assortment
• Manage store budgets, payroll targets, and strategic team scheduling
• Uphold visual merchandising standards and facilities maintenance
• Act as a key connection point between the retail store and corporate headquarters

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading multi-level teams in fast-paced retail or hospitality environments
• Proven track record of delivering measurable financial, operational, and customer experience results
• Experience building and developing diverse, high-performing teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to promote transparency and accountability
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrated ability to balance short-term and long-term business objectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a scaling or start-up environment
• Experience testing new experiential concepts in customer-facing environments
