Store Counter Sales

Responsibilities

• Provide automotive parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Deliver outstanding customer care and maintain high energy in a fast-paced retail environment
• Assist team members with technical parts questions using your industry knowledge
• Utilize store technology including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalog systems
• Engage with customers to ensure a positive and welcoming consumer experience

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in the automotive industry or parts stores, or a strong willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong listening skills and a customer-centric mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or passion for heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or automotive dealerships
• Experience with inventory management or cataloging systems
• Previous experience in auto body, collision, or auction environments
• ASE Certifications
