About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide automotive parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
- Deliver outstanding customer care and maintain high energy in a fast-paced retail environment
- Assist team members with technical parts questions using your industry knowledge
- Utilize technology including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalog systems to process transactions
- Engage with customers to ensure a positive and welcoming consumer experience
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or parts store, or a strong willingness to learn automotive parts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening skills and a customer-centric mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Background or passion for heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership environments
- Experience in an auction, auto body/collision shop, or retail store
- Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
