About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide automotive parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
- Deliver outstanding customer care and maintain high energy in a fast-paced retail environment
- Assist team members by using parts knowledge to resolve customer inquiries
- Utilize technology including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalog systems to manage transactions
- Engage with customers to ensure a positive and welcoming consumer experience
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Automotive parts knowledge or a strong willingness to learn the industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Background or passion for the automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, or marine industries
- Previous experience in a parts store, auction, retail, or auto body/collision shop
- Knowledge of cataloging or inventory management systems
- ASE Certifications
