Store Counter Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide automotive parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Deliver outstanding customer care and maintain a high-energy, positive consumer experience
• Assist team members with technical parts questions using your industry knowledge
• Utilize technology including computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalog systems
• Manage transactions and maintain organization within a fast-paced retail environment

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous experience in the automotive industry or parts store, or a strong willingness to learn
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customer needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or passion for heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership environments
• Experience with cataloging or inventory management systems
• Previous experience in an auction, auto body, or collision center
• ASE Certifications
