Store Cashier/Stocker

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient checkout service using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms
• Maintain store zone standards and cleanliness to ensure a great shopping experience
• Complete curbside pickup orders by accurately retrieving and verifying items
• Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss prevention goals
• Adhere to all company policies, cash handling procedures, and inventory guidelines
• Support a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to lift, carry, and place products weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to operate store equipment including cash registers, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a retail environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
