Store Cashier/Stocker

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient checkout service using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Stock shelves and displays neatly according to merchandising planograms
• Maintain store zone standards and perform general cleaning tasks
• Complete curbside pickup orders by accurately retrieving and verifying items
• Assist store management in achieving operational efficiency and loss prevention goals
• Adhere to all company policies, cash handling procedures, and inventory guidelines
• Support a safe working environment by identifying and rectifying hazards

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to lift, carry, and place products weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, pallet jacks, and cardboard balers
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments
• Ability to maintain reliable attendance and meet availability requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior work experience in a retail environment
