Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a friendly, professional, and helpful experience.
• Accurately manage cash transactions, including register funds, credit/debit cards, and lottery sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness and visual appeal, including the sales floor, lot, and restrooms.
• Stock merchandise on shelves and in coolers to ensure product availability.
• Follow food service protocols, including temperature logging, food rotation, and waste monitoring.
• Execute suggestive selling techniques to promote food and product sales.
• Adhere to all safety, health department, and company policies to maintain a secure environment.
• Complete shift cleaning checklists and prepare necessary logs for upcoming shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in basic math for calculating orders and handling transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of iPad and Android usage for store operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Serv-Safe Certification.
• Previous experience in retail or food service.
