Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude.
• Accurately manage cash, credit/debit transactions, lottery sales, and other forms of income.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including the sales floor, restrooms, and parking lot.
• Stock merchandise on shelves and in coolers to ensure product availability.
• Follow food service protocols, including temperature logging, food rotation, and waste monitoring.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote food and product sales.
• Adhere to all safety policies, health department regulations, and company procedures.
• Complete shift cleaning checklists and prepare necessary documentation for the next shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in basic math for calculating orders and handling transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers, vendors, and management.
• Knowledge of using iPad and Android devices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or convenience store environment.
• Serv-Safe Certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and basic computer operations.
