Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing a friendly, professional, and helpful attitude.
• Accurately manage cash transactions, including register funds, credit/debit cards, lottery, and car wash sales.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including the convenience store interior, parking lot, and bathrooms.
• Stock merchandise on shelves and in coolers to ensure product availability.
• Prepare and serve fresh food following all safety, temperature logging, and rotation protocols.
• Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote food and other store products.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety practices, and health department regulations.
• Complete shift checklists, cleaning duties, and necessary paperwork accurately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in basic math for calculating orders and handling transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Knowledge of using iPad and Android devices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or food service.
• Serv-Safe Certification.
• Experience operating convenience store or food service equipment.
