Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit, adhering to store policies regarding refunds and voids
• Sort, price, hang, and organize incoming donations to maintain inventory levels
• Assist with store layout, including window displays and merchandise arrangements to attract customers
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and ensuring fire exits are clear
• Monitor store activity to support security and assist with stock rotation and recycling processes
• Help unload donations from donors and place stock in appropriate locations

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Previous experience in customer service or the processing/distribution of goods
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
