Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
• Provide efficient customer service and assist with product inquiries
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
• Sort, price, hang, and store incoming donations according to quality standards
• Maintain store appearance through tidying, restocking, and creating attractive merchandise displays
• Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and donation turnover
• Ensure a safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including cleaning and clearing obstacles
• Assist donors with unloading contributions and placing stock in appropriate locations

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Previous experience in customer service or processing/distribution of goods
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays and Saturdays
