Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit, adhering to store policies
• Sort, price, hang, and store incoming donations to maintain inventory levels
• Assist with store layout, window displays, and merchandise presentation to attract customers
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, dusting, and clearing obstacles
• Assist donors with unloading contributions and placing stock in appropriate locations
• Monitor store activity to ensure security and protect the integrity of donated items

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Previous experience in customer service or processing/distribution of goods
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Ability to perform tasks involving bending, twisting, pulling, and pushing

Preferred Qualifications

• Product brand awareness
• Experience with bank deposits and summary reports
