Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
• Sort, price, hang, and organize incoming donations and merchandise
• Maintain store appearance through cleaning, dusting, and organizing displays
• Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and replenishment of the sales floor
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including maintaining clear exits and safe walkways
• Monitor store activity to ensure security and protect donated items

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks like bending and twisting
