Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
• Sort, price, hang, and organize incoming donations and merchandise
• Maintain store appearance through cleaning, dusting, and organizing displays
• Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and replenishment of the sales floor
• Ensure a safe environment by monitoring store activity and maintaining clear exits
• Assist donors with unloading contributions and placing stock in appropriate locations

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Previous experience in customer service or goods processing/distribution
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs frequently without assistance
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
