Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit sales
• Sort, price, hang, and organize incoming donations and merchandise
• Maintain store appearance through tidying, restocking, and cleaning tasks
• Assist with store layout, window displays, and merchandise presentation
• Monitor store security and adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Support inventory control by retrieving and replenishing stock on the sales floor

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
