Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
• Process incoming donations by loading, unloading, sorting, hanging, and pricing items
• Maintain store appearance through tidying, restocking shelves, and creating attractive merchandise displays
• Contribute to sales targets by providing efficient customer service and maintaining product knowledge
• Ensure store safety and cleanliness by following health and safety protocols and maintaining clear walkways
• Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and the removal of old inventory from the sales floor

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Previous experience in customer service or goods processing/distribution
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and reaching
• Physical capability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs frequently without assistance
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
