Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit sales
• Sort, price, hang, and organize incoming donations and merchandise
• Maintain store appearance through tidying, restocking, and creating attractive displays
• Assist with unloading donations and managing inventory turnover
• Adhere to all health and safety policies, including maintaining clear exits and clean common areas
• Monitor store security and follow opening and closing procedures

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs frequently, including bending, twisting, and reaching
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays and Saturdays
