Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
• Sort, price, hang, and organize incoming donations and merchandise
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including sweeping, dusting, and restocking shelves
• Assist with store layout, window displays, and merchandise presentation
• Monitor store security and adhere to all health and safety protocols
• Assist donors with unloading contributions and placing stock in appropriate locations

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and reaching
• Physical stamina to lift and move up to 30 lbs frequently without assistance
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
