Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
• Sort, price, hang, and organize incoming donations and raw materials
• Maintain store appearance through tidying, restocking shelves, and creating merchandise displays
• Assist with inventory control, including stock rotation and replenishment of the sales floor
• Ensure a safe environment by following health and safety protocols and maintaining clear exits
• Assist donors with unloading contributions and placing stock in appropriate locations

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Proven experience in cash handling and operating cash registers
• Previous experience in customer service or goods processing/distribution
• Computer literacy and experience working in a computerized environment
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
