Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
• Process donations by loading, unloading, sorting, packing, hanging, and pricing items
• Maintain store appearance through tidying, restocking shelves, and creating attractive merchandise displays
• Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and replenishment of the sales floor
• Ensure a safe environment by following health and safety protocols, including clearing obstacles and cleaning spills
• Monitor store security and assist with opening and closing procedures

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Previous experience in customer service or the processing/distribution of goods
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs on a frequent basis without assistance
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
