Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
• Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit systems
• Sort, price, hang, and organize incoming donations and raw materials
• Maintain store appearance through tidying, restocking shelves, and creating merchandise displays
• Assist with unloading donations and managing inventory turnover
• Ensure a safe environment by following health and safety protocols and maintaining clear walkways
• Monitor store activity to support security and loss prevention

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework
• Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, and reaching
• Physical stamina to lift and move up to 30 lbs frequently
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cooperative team
