About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet and interact with customers and donors in a positive, friendly, and courteous manner
- Process customer transactions accurately using cash and debit, adhering to store policies
- Sort, price, hang, and store incoming donations to maintain inventory levels
- Assist with store layout, window displays, and merchandise organization to ensure an attractive shopping environment
- Maintain store cleanliness and safety, including sweeping, dusting, and clearing obstacles
- Monitor store activity to support security and assist with stock rotation
Requirements
- Completion of some high school coursework
- Previous experience in customer service or processing/distribution of goods
- Proven experience with cash handling and operating cash registers
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 30 lbs frequently
- Ability to perform tasks involving bending, twisting, pulling, and pushing
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of product brands and retail trends
- Experience working in a computerized retail environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
