Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Welcome and connect with customers by greeting them, answering questions, and recommending styles.
• Develop and nurture relationships with repeat customers through proactive engagement.
• Maintain store aesthetics by ensuring product presentation, folding, hanging, and organization meet brand standards.
• Keep the store appearance clean by maintaining fitting rooms, displays, and mirrors.
• Manage inventory tasks including receiving, returning, and transferring shipments and online fulfillment.
• Drive brand engagement and passion across the store team.
• Communicate customer feedback to the leadership team to improve the shopping experience.

Requirements

• 1+ years of retail associate experience.
• Must be available to work on weekends.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and holidays.
• Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Ability to work the duration of the store opening period.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the fashion or apparel industry.
• Experience working within a small team environment.
• Familiarity with the Madhappy brand and mission.
• Interest in fashion and mental health awareness.
