Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly, attentive approach reflecting high service standards
• Provide personalized recommendations on rental gear, apparel, and accessories to drive sales
• Operate point-of-sale systems and RTP software for transactions, rentals, and returns
• Maintain accurate cash handling and daily transaction balancing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor using merchandising techniques
• Perform waxing and equipment maintenance to ensure top-quality gear
• Support back-of-house operations including stockroom organization and product receiving
• Monitor for security concerns and report inventory or cash discrepancies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of retail sales and direct customer service experience in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of winter sports equipment, apparel, and gear performance
• Proficiency with rental, ticketing, or reservation software systems
• Ability to communicate clearly and warmly in English
• Ability to stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of ski manufacturers’ binding certification
• Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or other languages for international guests
