Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Model and fulfill customer service principles to enhance the shopping experience
• Utilize the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately scan and process customer purchases
• Stock shelves and displays according to merchandising planograms
• Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items and delivering them to customers
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards to keep the store looking its best
• Perform general cleaning tasks and maintain a safe working environment
• Adhere to cash policies, inventory procedures, and product handling guidelines

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to lift, carry, and place product weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to operate store equipment including cash registers, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior work experience in a retail environment
