Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to enhance the shopping experience
• Perform cashiering duties using the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
• Stock shelves and displays according to merchandising planograms
• Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving and verifying items for customers
• Maintain store cleanliness and zone standards through regular cleaning tasks
• Assist in achieving operational efficiency and total loss goals
• Adhere to all company policies, cash handling procedures, and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift, carry, and place products weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to operate store equipment including cash registers, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic arithmetic skills for accurate transactions
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks within established timeframes

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a retail environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
