Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to enhance the shopping experience
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to accurately scan and process customer purchases
• Stock shelves and displays according to merchandising planograms to maximize sales
• Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving items and delivering them to customers
• Maintain store cleanliness and zone standards through regular cleaning tasks
• Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by identifying and rectifying hazards
• Adhere to all company policies, cash handling procedures, and inventory guidelines

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to lift, carry, and place products weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, pallet jacks, and cardboard balers
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior work experience in a retail environment
