Store Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service to enhance the shopping experience
• Perform cashiering duties using the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
• Stock shelves and displays according to merchandising planograms
• Complete curbside pickup orders by retrieving and verifying items for customers
• Maintain store cleanliness and zone standards through regular cleaning tasks
• Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and reporting damaged or outdated products
• Operate store equipment including cash registers, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift, carry, and place products weighing up to 45 pounds
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Ability to operate various store equipment and handheld devices
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a retail environment
