Store Assistant – Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent customer experience by maintaining strong relationships with customers and supply partners
• Support warehouse operations including receiving weekly stock deliveries and putting goods away in correct locations
• Manage customer returns following established procedures to ensure accurate credits and administration
• Drive sales by responding to inbound calls and making outbound calls to follow up on quotes and offer promotions
• Serve customers at the trade counter, including picking, packing, and processing orders
• Manage outbound deliveries by preparing pick-pack processes and creating necessary courier paperwork
• Handle customer queries regarding tenders, quotations, and technical specifications

Requirements

• Prior sales or customer service experience (wholesale or trade environments preferred; retail experience will be considered)
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Flexibility to undertake a variety of store and warehouse duties

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous industry experience in a wholesale distributor or working on a trade counter
• Strong desire to learn and meet individual sales targets
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
