Storage Technician

Responsibilities

• Safely transfer products from trucks to tank storage (raw materials and waste) while adhering to safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor and operate tank farm facilities.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical malfunctions.
• Perform maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Document all activities, deviations, and reports in accordance with internal guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with work, environmental, and explosion protection regulations (ATEX).
• Participate in on-call services and occasional Saturday shifts as part of a team rotation.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship as a Logistician, Polymechanic, Plant Operator, or a comparable technical qualification.
• Proven experience in tank farm operations.
• Strong sense of responsibility regarding safety and quality.
• Physical resilience and the ability to work reliably under stress.
• Fluency in written and spoken German.
• Flexibility to work on-call and on rotating Saturday schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of hazardous goods regulations (ADR/RID).
• Valid forklift license.
• Basic knowledge of cGMP standards.
• Experience using SAP S/4HANA.
