Storage Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work on diverse portfolio of storage arrays including Dell/EMC (PowerMax, Unity, PowerScale, PowerStore), NetApp, and object storage solutions
• Analyze and troubleshoot storage related issues with cross-functional teams
• Manage SAN Fabric using Brocade Directors & Cisco MDS switches
• Interact with senior team members, business customers, and external storage vendors
• Identify and mitigate technical risks and process inefficiencies
• Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of NetApp hardware and software in mission-critical 24x7 environments
• Expert knowledge of Dell products including PowerMax, PowerScale, PowerStore, and Unity
• Experience with Dell ECS and Google Cloud Storage
• Experience with backup tools such as NetBackup
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows systems
• Experience with virtualization environments like VMware and HyperV
• Ability to work independently in a globally dispersed organization
