Storage and Data Protection SME

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a virtualized Multi-Tenant Data Center and hybrid Cloud Computing solutions
• Manage virtual capabilities including storage, network, server, and software platforms like VMware vSphere, Citrix Xen, and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Configure networks, servers, and storage to Air Force specifications
• Build test and training plans for Airmen regarding backend virtual environments including Cisco UCS, EMC VNX, and VMware Horizon View
• Manage Storage Area Networks (SAN) using EMC, NetApp, Nutanix, or EVO
• Provision virtual servers for Unified Computing and SharePoint deployments
• Provide customer support and troubleshooting for virtual servers and VDI hardware/software
• Manage PCoIP technologies including device addition, firmware updates, and policy management
• Perform daily VDI Health Checks and monitor backend infrastructure performance
• Perform installation, configuration, and management of Atlantis iLio technology
• Manage VMware vRealize for application and infrastructure visibility

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Cisco CCIE Data Center, Cisco CCNP Data Center, or NetApp NCDA certification
• Ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret security clearance
• Experience with VMware vSphere, Horizon, NetApp, and Windows desktop/server OS
• Experience managing enterprise storage, backup, recovery, and SAN infrastructure (NetApp, Dell EMC, Cisco UCS, etc.)
