Storage Administrator

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer enterprise storage environments and backup solutions
• Ensure high availability of storage systems and maintain backup success rates
• Execute disaster recovery processes, including replication and RPO/RTO management
• Support cloud-based backup solutions and manage Dell Data Domain appliances
• Perform troubleshooting and recovery for critical storage and backup incidents
• Adhere to ITIL processes for Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Monitor capacity forecasting and ensure compliance with backup SLAs

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in Storage and Backup Administration
• Proficiency with Commvault Cloud, Commvault Metallic, and Veeam Backup & Replication
• Hands-on experience with IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) and IBM Tape Libraries
• Experience administering NetApp storage environments and IBM Storage platforms
• Experience managing Dell Data Domain appliances
• Strong understanding of DR, RPO, RTO, replication, and retention concepts
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• NetApp SnapMirror administration and storage replication technologies
• Experience with cloud backup solutions across IBM Cloud, Azure, and OCI
• VMware and database backup integration (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Automation scripting experience using PowerShell or Python
