Responsibilities

• Fabricate quartz, granite, and other hard surface countertops
• Perform job layout and optimization of materials
• Measure and cut materials using Saw/Waterjet, CNC machines, and polishers
• Build countertops to customer specifications
• Conduct quality inspections and stage materials for shipment or installation
• Locate and run job programs on CNC machines
• Maintain safe work procedures and a clean work area

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 100 lbs
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per day
• Ability to bend, twist, and stoop
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, digital templates, and CAD drawings
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure and understanding dimensions
• Knowledge of mathematics including fractions and decimals
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior CNC experience
• Prior fabrication or construction experience
• Hilo operator’s license (training provided if needed)
