Stock Lead

Responsibilities

• Move product and supplies from receiving or storage areas to designated locations
• Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, color, or product code
• Ensure accuracy of transfer documentation between the store and the corporate warehouse
• Perform merchandising and floor stocking, including steaming, hanging, or folding merchandise
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean stock room and work area
• Mark materials with appropriate identifying information and tagging
• Assist with physical inventory counts
• Communicate merchandise and supply needs to store and corporate management
• Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping in the backroom and sales floor

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency with POS systems and other store computer applications
• Strong mathematical skills for counting and equations
• Ability to stand for the majority of a shift and work without the use of headphones

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of prior warehouse experience
