Stock Controller Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor the stock control team to ensure high performance and adherence to procedures
• Develop and implement stock control processes that promote inventory accuracy and efficiency
• Conduct regular audits of stock levels and investigate discrepancies between physical and recorded stock
• Utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels and generate reports for analysis
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure availability of stock and support sales initiatives
• Manage stock movements, including receiving, storage, and distribution
• Identify trends, make recommendations for stock optimization, and report on stock-related KPIs
• Coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to stock management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in stock control or inventory management
• At least 1 year in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of stock control principles and best practices
• Experience with inventory management software and systems
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
