Stock Clerk, Sr.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventories, data entry for supply requisitions, and conduct expiring audits of supplies.
• Accept, uncrate, unpack, and distribute daily shipments from vendors and internal sources.
• Monitor and maintain established par-levels for supplies in sterile peri-operative areas.
• Use automated materials management information systems to identify stocking locations and perform receiving tasks.
• Communicate daily with management regarding outages, discrepancies, or inventory issues.
• Support supply chain materials management efforts to reduce on-hand inventory through overstock reviews.
• Attend mandatory daily MDI (Manage for Daily Improvement) huddles to discuss metrics and schedules.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Proficiency in data input within menu-type materials management information systems.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience with hospital or surgical supplies.
• Experience in Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing Department (SPD), or Supply Chain environments.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Prior experience operating a forklift.
