Stock Associate

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments, scan items as delivered, and accurately maintain inventory records
• Ticket and stock merchandise in the stockroom or prepare for distribution to the sales floor
• Organize the stockroom by department and category to ensure items are easily located
• Assist the sales team with floor replenishment and customer service during peak times
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, including sweeping and garbage removal
• Pack and log merchandise as required for customer deliveries
• Follow all company procedures to minimize inventory loss

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 years of customer service or stockroom experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 100 lbs using appropriate safety techniques
• Ability to operate and read scanning equipment for extended periods
• Effective time management skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor or in the stockroom for extended periods
